Chief Secretary Shri V. Srinivas held a courtesy meeting with Lieutenant General Padam Singh Shekhawat, Chief of Staff, South Western Command, on Monday.
During the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening civil-military coordination, improving coordination in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations, and enhancing welfare measures for ex-servicemen and Veer Naris.
The two sides also discussed initiatives related to enhancing the employment-oriented skills of youth under the Agnipath scheme.
The meeting highlighted the importance of continued coordination between civil and military authorities to strengthen disaster response, welfare initiatives and skill development efforts in Rajasthan.
