Shri Srinivas chaired a meeting at the Government Secretariat on Friday to review preparations for the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan. He informed that, to mark the completion of six years of the National Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, various programmes will be organised across the country over a period of one month. In Rajasthan, a target has been set to connect 80 lakh people with the campaign.

The Chief Secretary directed the Secretaries of the concerned departments and District Collectors to complete all necessary preparations within the stipulated time for the successful implementation of the campaign. He also directed officials to ensure strict compliance with the guidelines issued by the Central Government.

He emphasised that people who have successfully overcome drug addiction should also be actively associated with the campaign. Their personal experiences, he said, can play an important role in creating awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encouraging others to stay away from addiction.
