Rajya Sabha MP Nitin Nabin and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma attended the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ programme held at Albert Hall on Friday under the Viksit Bharat Jan Seva Abhiyan. During the programme, Rajya Sabha MP Nitin Nabin administered the cleanliness pledge to the general public.
Following the pledge, the Rajya Sabha MP and the Chief Minister honoured Swachhata Mitras by draping dupattas around them and interacted with them to inquire about their well-being. They also planted saplings and conveyed the message of environmental conservation.
Deputy Chief Ministers Diya Kumari and Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel, Industry and Commerce Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore, Minister of State for Urban Development and Self-Government (Independent Charge) Jhabar Singh Kharra, Chairman of the State Finance Commission Dr. Arun Chaturvedi, Minister of State for Home Affairs Jawahar Singh Bedham, MPs Madan Rathore, Manju Sharma and Dr. Alka Gurjar, MLAs Kalicharan Saraf, Gopal Sharma and Balmukundacharya, Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, senior officials from the concerned departments and a large number of citizens were present at the programme.
