CM Bhajan Lal Sharma Pays Tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya

On the 110th birth anniversary of visionary nationalist thinker, pioneer of Ekatma Manavvad and proponent of Antyodaya, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma visited his memorial at Dhankya on Friday and paid floral tributes to his statue. He bowed in reverence and recalled the noble ideals and contributions of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.

The Chief Minister said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya was a great thinker and a pioneer of cultural nationalism who dedicated his entire life to the service of Maa Bharti. He made the welfare of the person standing at the last rung of society the central objective of his life and propounded the philosophy of ‘Ekatma Manavvad’ for inclusive development.

He said that the philosophy and ideas of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya continue to serve as a guiding light. The state government, he added, is implementing various public welfare schemes with Antyodaya as their core objective, with a focus on ensuring that the benefits of development reach the last person in society.
