The ambitious Viksit Bharat–Jan Seva Abhiyan–2026 is being conducted across the state from September 17 to October 17. Launched with the vision of strengthening public welfare, social responsibility and good governance, the month-long campaign aims to raise awareness about government welfare schemes and ensure their benefits reach eligible beneficiaries. The campaign also seeks to actively engage farmers, women and youth in the journey towards a prosperous Viksit Rajasthan.
A rural service camp organised at Daikada Gram Panchayat in Mandor, Jodhpur, provided timely financial relief to local cattle rearer Sukhi, wife of Harlal. After losing her livestock, Sukhi received an insurance claim of ₹27,000 on the spot under the Mukhyamantri Mangala Pashu Bima Yojana. Having insured her cattle under the scheme, she was able to receive financial assistance at a time of need.
Expressing her gratitude, Sukhi said that the ₹27,000 insurance payout is a significant support for her family. She plans to combine the amount with a bank loan to purchase a buffalo and further increase her income from dairy farming. She also expressed her gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma for promoting the scheme for small livestock owners.
The same camp also resolved a long-pending land-related issue concerning Mahatma Gandhi Government School, Daikada. Officials reviewed the relevant land records and expedited the case, following which the long-awaited land title deed (patta) was issued on the spot.
With the issuance of the patta, the school’s land rights have been formally secured. This will facilitate the construction of new classrooms, a boundary wall and sports facilities, besides enabling the school to access various government development grants.
The prompt resolution of the decades-old issue brought relief and happiness to both villagers and school authorities, demonstrating how such service camps can provide on-the-spot solutions to long-pending public grievances.
