Chief Secretary Reviews PM-RKVY Progress, Directs Timely Utilisation of Allocated Budget

Chief Secretary Shri V. Srinivas reviewed the progress of the PM Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (PM-RKVY) in the state during a meeting held at the Government Secretariat on Thursday. The meeting included a detailed review of the works being undertaken under various components of the scheme and their progress.

Expressing satisfaction with the progress, the Chief Secretary said that all components of the scheme are being implemented effectively across the state. He directed the concerned officials to ensure effective implementation through regular monitoring of the works.

Ensure timely utilisation of allocated budget

Principal Secretary, Agriculture and Horticulture, Smt. Manju Rajpal directed officials to ensure timely utilisation of the budget allocated under the scheme within the prescribed period.

She said that timely utilisation of the budget would accelerate the implementation of scheme-related works and ensure that farmers receive the benefits of various initiatives without delay.

The meeting also reviewed pending cases related to the scheme. Smt. Rajpal directed officials to ensure their early disposal and instructed them to promptly address constraints affecting implementation through better coordination among departments.

She emphasised that effective coordination and continuous monitoring are essential to ensure that all works under the scheme are completed within the stipulated timeframe.
