Governor Shri Haribhau Bagde on Monday administered the oath of office to Justice Sanjay Kumar Agarwal as the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court at Lok Bhavan in Jaipur.
Justice Sanjay Kumar Agarwal took the oath in English during the ceremony.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Chief Secretary Shri V. Srinivas requested the Governor to administer the oath to Justice Agarwal. Prior to the oath-taking, the Chief Secretary read out the appointment notification and warrant issued by President Droupadi Murmu regarding the appointment of the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, Deputy Chief Ministers Shrimati Diya Kumari and Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa, members of the state Cabinet, public representatives, judges of the Rajasthan High Court, senior officials, advocates, and family members of Chief Justice Sanjay Kumar Agarwal.
With the oath-taking ceremony, Justice Sanjay Kumar Agarwal formally assumed charge as the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court.
